Todd "Steve" Romero has joined the CBS affiliate in Orlando, Florida as its new weekend sports anchor, thus confirming his departure from WWE. Romero had worked in TV sports before joining WWE and is returning to his roots. After Velocity went off the air last June, Romero was taken off of television for the most part. He hosted the monthly preview shows for WWE 24/7 up until a few months as announcer Jack Korpela suddenly took over.
Rob Van Dam has been confirmed as a guest at an upcoming memorabilia show in England. The show will be held at the NEC in Birmingham on the 7th and 8th of July. Smackdown finished in last place last night in the ratings as the show averaged a 2.4 overall rating in the Fast National ratings. It did a 2.2 in the first hour 2.2 and a 2.5 in the second hour. SmackDown did a 2.4 rating last week as well.
