- In the gossip section of the latest WWE Magazine, they hint at a possible break-up between Johnny Nitro and Melina with the following:

Which A-list couple will no longer be appearing in tandem at celebrity functions? While it isn't yet confirmed, I'm pretty confident in saying that is dynamic duo is officially "Splits"-ville.

- When Vince McMahon heard about Dustin Rhodes backing out of the SNME tapings, he got mad and then decided he didn't want any non-contracted talent appearing on the show. WWE agent Mike Bucci was in talks with former WWF star Kamala to appear in the "freaks" match but after Vince made his decision, Kamala had to be pulled from the match after being advertised.

Obviously Kenny found ways to make Nitro happy that Melina couldn't. :haha:

On a serious note, looking at WWE.com they seem to be indicating this Nitro-Kenny tag team is gonna last for a while, so it makes sense to have the attention on them, not their valet.

If Nitro is going to really break through, people need to be caring about him, not his girlfriend. The whole couple thing put all the attention on Melina, and made Nitro seem like her man-valet.
