Edge has been told that he will have a long reign as champion and that for the first time in his career, the show will be centered around him. He's had pressure before as champion, but even when he was champion before, John Cena and Triple H were always considered the stars of the show.

I agree but if not Batista then who will take it from Edge maybe someone brought over in the draft??

This is really good news and it's awesome for Edge. I want to see him have a very solid/long reign as champ. John Cena has been champ for quite some time. Although, I think this feud with Batista lacking. I think it was rushed into and sort of makes Edge look like a bitch, being intimidated by him. Honestly, I can't wait to see what pans out from this. They're finally steering the show away from Batista being the star. Glad they're taking a chance and giving some variety to the show.
