WWE has contacted Len Davies, the promoter of Real Quality Wrestling in London, England about possibly setting up a European developmental territory. Len was flown by WWE to Detroit for WrestleMania to discuss the potential business relationship.
Davies has his own production and media company as well as good television contracts in the United Kingdom. Real Quality Wrestling does a television show once a month on The Wrestling Channel and Davies has the financial backing to cover any losses that would be entailed. Even though RQW has never drawn more than one-hundred people to their events, their TV and DVD production is said to be among some of the best in Europe.
The belief is that a decision will be one way or another by WWE next month.
