WWE Fines Referees, Blowing Up Angle Revisited, More

- Recently, WWE signed an endorsement deal with Gillette, and John Cena will be promoting Gillette Fusion.

- As of late, WWE is being very firm with officials and are going as far as fining them for inconsistent counts.

- The original idea of the “blowing up” angle is dated back to February 2005 by Dave Lagana who is now the head ECW writer. At the time, Brian Gewirtz thought it was far too fetched but with USA Network pushing for higher ratings, the idea was revisited.

who is really going to wanna become a ref now, if they do something wrong they get a fine, which is stupid. great idea on WWE's part, i'm sure you will have people lining up at your door to be a referee
