Phenomenal One

It is rumored that Ric Flair will be finishing up as an active WWE wrestler at WrestleMania 24.
Dan Rodman was recently booked at the main event of a WWE house show to see how he performed under pressure at the highest level. Rodman is one of Johnny Ace's pet projects and management is expecting big things from him. Don't expect to see him on RAW, Smackdown, or ECW until they feel he is absolutely ready.

i'm not surprised he will stop being an active wrestler as he has been going for about 30 years. i expect him to be in the hall of fame either next year or 2009

i think flair will be in the hall of fame next year, i thought for sure this year would be his year, but i guess not. but im sure if his last match would be at WM, they would wanna have that whole weekend be special, so why not put him in the HOF next year

have his last match at mania. for the whc. he wins it, retires and then edge can win it back in a tourney or something..

Wasn't a suprise, I heard this same rumour months ago. Besides he's now what 59? I don't think he can continue after all these years of wrestling.

WM 24 is still to far away IMO lol. He should retire now :shifty: although he will probably change his mind after all is said and done.
Also, that Rodman news has already been posted discussed in the latest WWE wrestling results forum.

^^ A wooo chant? LOL, I'm not a big fan of his wrestling at this age but loved him when he was younger... As GM he could still jump in the ring once in a while to please the fans or interfere in a match or something...

It will be interesting to see if Flair really does retire after WM24, it is still a while away. I would like to see him in some kind of on-screen roll though, once he decides to retire from the ring
