Right now the plan is to move the Hardys back to singles. Their run as a tag team was only supposed to be a one-time deal; however since they went over so well WWE decided to give them a few more matches. At one point they almost decided not to have them challenge Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch at last night’s Vengeance pay-per-view.

The working idea backstage is to have Matt Hardy get a big singles push on SmackDown as a babyface who loses all the time but stays over. They then want Jeff to develop a prankster type personality backstage which could be used to integrate him into the Jackass angle planned for SummerSlam.

Wow, that sounds horrible IMO...I would hate for Matt to get a push on SD,well because I hate Matt...Though, it would have been good now for Matt and Edge to feud about Lita because Edge could put the WHC on the line against Matt(of course not going to happen). Jeff as a prankster to put him in with Jackass...that's said IMO and a waste of talent, the whole Jackass thing at Summerslam is garbage...

I would have to agree that is some of the stupidest shit I have ever herd. Both of those guys need to be in some sort of title hunt. Not some losing push and some Jackass gimmick.

OMG, LMAO! Santino is supposedly getting a push though he doesn't deserve it, IMO they each need to go for their mid-card belts on RAW and SD, Matt would be good competition for MVP and Jeff would be a better IC champ than Santino...

Why not Matt, He's a better in ring competitor then Jeff so I would say Matt has a better shot at holding singles gold. But on the other hand Jeff is a bit more popular.

Matt hardy deserves to get a push they should give him the US title for starters as for Jeff he already had a huge push first the IC title then the tag belts iff they give him a push the only title left would be the WWE championship

I definitely agree. Matt = US Champ & Jeff = IC Champ is a great idea. The WWE should have them win those in the near future, and give them huge pushes. And eventually, in a few WrestleManias, maybe 25 or 26, they could each win a World Heavyweight title. Imagine the crowd reaction when two brothers who have grown up in the business fulfill their dreams on the same night...Jeff win the WWE Title (RAW) and Matt win the World Heavyweight Title (Smackdown!). But this should be a process.
