Seems that a Peripheral manufacturer known as XMC is working on a cable to get HDMI functionality on the regular Xbox 360. It was assumed that the regular Xbox 360 wasnt capable of getting HDMI out of it but it seems that wasnt true. Seems to be quite an annoyance for people who have shelled out cash for an Elite for this feature but with Europe not even having the Elite yet no-one could have done that here. Definitely will be something to look out for in the next 4 weeks (approx time until they finish it).

Good news as I was thinking about selling my 360 and getting an Elite. Thanks for the post man.

With the Hard Drive being an addition peripheral you could also fit that to your original 360 and have both HDMI and 120Gb hard drive soon enough.
