Chris Jericho Confirms Full Time Return, The Godfather, More

- Today's Baltimore Sun has a lengthy interview up with Chris Jericho. Jericho says he is returning to wrestling and will be returning to a full time schedule. He didn't mention whether it will be TNA or WWE.

He did say he's happy when TNA mentions his name on their broadcasts. Jericho also spoke on doing his comedy, a play in Toronto and writing his new book.

- Former WWE Star The Godfather has been seen in Las Vegas doing a commercial advertising a strip club.

Well it seems apparent that he will be going to TNA. Jericho is what both companies NEED right now. That guy that just OOZES with charisma. A lead guy thats character just has that outrageous connection with the crowd. Guys like Roddy Piper, The Rock, earlier HBK...etc. I dont think either company has that at this point. You watch WWE and you got Umaga screaming on Raw, you got the ab-man on ECW, then on SD! You got the same old thing over and over. TNA has Samoa Joe boring people in interviews. Granted WWE has Cryme Tyme and TNA has Eric Young, but none of those are lead guys.

I really hope Jericho ends up on Smackdown. The only reason I still watch the show is for MVP and Finlay. Edge vs. Jericho would do wonders for the show considering Edge's growth in the last year and a half. We never got that IC title feud that was hinted at in 2004 so maybe we can get it this time around for the World Championship.
