Roddy Pipers new movie / Paul Burchill on the Smackdown crew

Roddy Piper appears in the MTV film "The Super Sweet 16: The Movie" as the father of one of the main characters. Although he isn't playing "Roddy Piper" the character is a former professional wrestler and at one point, it's noted he used to wrestle in a kilt. This was the first project Piper worked on after his lymphoma went into remission. The film aired over the weekend on MTV and will be released on DVD this Tuesday.

WWE sent Paul Burchill out on the road with the Smackdown crew this weekend, teaming with Dave Taylor. With William Regal moved to Raw, Taylor needs a new partner so that may be Burchill's ticket to finally returning to the main roster. He's been completely re-make in Ohio Valley Wrestling as "The Ripper" persona.

i just recently saw that alien movie Piper was in :shy: anyways will have to see this one to since i am a fan of his.
