05/11/2006 - According to the The Hollywood Reporter, World Wrestling Entertainment has inked a deal with Comcast. The WWE 24/7 service will be available this summer to Comcast digital cable customers. This would be the largest cable clearance for the service to date as WWE 24/7 will be available to 10 million Comcast digital cable customers in several major markets. An official press release is expected to be released shortly.
Internally, WWE 24/7 was said to be somewhat of a disappointment because they only had approximately 40,000 regular subscribers. That figure will unquestionably escalate now that WWE 24/7 will more widely available to customers.
