Big Vito was on the Barbaric Wrestling Radio show the other day and said he'd like to return to the WWE and feels since he left there on good terms, he will one day be back. Here are a few more highlights from the interview:
- He said he doesn't know why he was released, but says it was probably financial reasons as there wasn't any bad blood between him and the company.
- According to the former WWE star, he's been trying to get onto reality shows like VH1's The Surreal Life and ABC's Dancing With the Stars.
- An upcoming movie titled "Good Friday" about an Italian wrestler will feature Vito. The movie begins filming in September.
- Vince and Stephanie came up with the dress gimmick.
- When asked if he wanted to go to TNA where his friend Vince Russo works, he said they treated him nice before but wherever he can go wrestle and be Vito, he will go.
- He said the original reason why he did the Playgirl photo shoot was because WWE had plans on promoting his and Ashley's Playboy photo shoots at the same time around WrestleMania, but for some reason it didn't work out like that. He wanted to go fully nude but they asked him to be covered up. Vito mentioned even though he didn't appear fully nude, he got paid the same amount as a centerfold and prior to the shoot, he went to WWE divas Torrie Wilson and Candice Michelle for advice on shooting the photos.
