i dislike rap!!!

as this title said i dislike the rap now day's i will give reason's why one of a few is in the there music videos just only having heaps and heaps of half naked girls or women (slut's) how i see them im not bashing the old school rap just the new style of rap that i see on TV every FUCKING DAY with the FUCKING RING TONES not being jealous that my style of music ain't being played every day on TV and the radio just how people jump on the band wagon or just doing what every one else is doing im not saying rap is the worst style of music i know a few rapers on youtube who are quite good at what there doing but one thing i would like is having a ban on rap music videos being played on the TV and being restricted in what can be in the video watching a rap music video is like watching soft core porn in my eyes and it's being played on video hit's and MTV all the damn time just they talk about them selfs the rapers i mean unlike some song writers who sing about the truth that happens in the world i won't give any examples at this point just what are your views on this and not saying that metal is the best style of music it was the way i was brought up soo i guess if i didn't have that i would like any style of music lol..

well BME kinda hard when you sister likes rap and plays it all the DAMN!!11 time but you see my view on this and yes most people would hate my taste in music well most people any way's..

Some rap is good some rap is not. Most Dutch rap is crap IMO, but they play it on MTV here all the dam time. Just don't listen to it is probably the best / easiest solution but if ur sister play it then I think u could buy some headphones and listen to metal that way or just put ur metal up louder :D

Diff people like diff music, I like rap, hip hop and even Rock... kind of a mix, some people chose to hate some genres... but still Rap is famous wherever u go, its as good as the genre's... as for the video's, the older generation dont like them, they see it as a disgrace to women, the younger generation like the videos, cuz for them its cool... Rap doesn't offer much on the subject of reality, but its got a beat to it, and for some they like it...

But, some rap is good, I listen to like 5 rap songs...

But, those people are the ones that don't put sluts in videos.

I suggest looking around a little more. There are places to see rap videos other than MTV.

I do not at all believe the answer is to restrict what can be show on TV. If you don't want to see it, then don't watch. It's been said; there are people who would disagree with your opinion and who actually enjoy what they see on MTV. There's no reason to try and ruin it for everyone simply because you don't like it. More censorship is definitely not the answer.

and the beat is good i must say but it's soo mainstream they can do what ever they want and no one would really care would they due to most of the rapers are role models for the younger kids i don't mind older people playing due to they have a brain between there ear's and as i said just my view on this and on my pay TV have 3 music channels not one of them plays metal only on MTV's head bangers ball and that's fucked IMO im passionate about 2 thing's one FOOTBALL (soccer) and music, music as a whole but the raper that rap before it became mainstream was good back then it was all about the music and i think 75% of them are selling due to it's all about the money showing what they have like soo much money gose into there music videos were was it were they used to spend at most $1000 but i saw one music video i think it was nelly whats his name had a helicopter just built for him just to use in the music video and all this "bling" just i think this rant went out of control lol that's what happens when i think.....

PS: yes rap can't cover many subjects and they repeat the same line like 50 time's and i hear rap every were now with all the teens on the bus playing on there phones were was it were you used to wait in line out side a music store just to get your bands CD or viynal on it's release date if you old enough to know i still have a few very rare viynals on metallica and a few other's well what im trying to say here what have phones and the internet done has done to music yea you can get free music but what about the CD and book that cames with it you don't get that just thing's that i miss in the past :sad:....

Anyway, when I suggested looking other places than MTV for videos, I didn't just mean other TV stations. No matter what type of cable or satellite service you have, there always only going to be only a few music video stations, and they all cater to a very general audience. I was implying that you should use the internet to search for some better rap videos.

And another thing, if you already have headphones, why should it matter if your sister plays a lot of music you don't like? That would be the point of having headphones--to listen to what you want to hear and drown everything else out.
