Hi guys, was just wondering if Dutch people needed a visa if they wanted to go to USA for a holiday, according to this website, which looks pretty official to me, it says it's not nescesarry.

http://netherlands.usembassy.gov/visa_waiver_program2.html

But alot of people say 'Ofcourse you need a visa (VISUM in Dutch language)' and becuz of the 9/11 incident, that makes more sense.

So if anyone can help me answer the question that has been troubling me for weeks now that wud be greatly appreciated

I don't know about the Dutch but I know with Australia and New Zealand there is a visa waiver allowing you to stay in America for 3months without any visa.

According to that site you are allegible for the same program. If you are going for a holiday you just fly over and they put a green slip in your passport which entitles you entry to the country for 3mths/90 days. However on that waiver you cannot work or study.

I have been travelling on the Visa Waiver to America twice a year since 2005 just recently I've had to get a Student Visa so that I can live there (I move tomorrow).

Hope that helps.
