USA Pushes For Jericho

There has been a major push from Bonnie Hammer and the USA Network for WWE to step their product up, due to the recent ratings decline.

Apparently Hammer is even sending memos to WWE suggesting ideas and storylines. Reportedly she wants a more Vince Russo-like product and wants to see names like Steve Austin, Chris Jericho and the McMahons featured.

Hammer wants WWE to have something like it did back in its Attitude era.

USA is putting so much pressure on WWE it's hilarious. Hammer should suggest a new match of champions: Khali and Umaga vs Hornswoggle and Candice! At the moment I don't think it matters much whatever is on: Jericho, Stone Cold, Bret Hart or The Rock. Wrestling has a bad image at the moment and you don't just shake that off by putting up a recycled storyline or era.

I'm sure the McMahon's will stay quiet till much later into the year till the Benoit stuff blows over... The ratings decline is most likely due to concerned parents of kids who watch wrestling, banning them from the show and if that is the case, no matter who you bring on the show will not affect a parent's decision on parental blocking...

Well as funny as it may seem,wwe has hit the wall w/ ideas and the guys writing the checks at usa have noticed
