There are reports from numerous WWE insiders that Vince McMahon & script writers have been talking about bringing back some of the old guests who appeared for angles previously for World Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Federation. Apparently one staff member overheard a conversation and the name Dennis Rodman popped up into discussion.

The name Rodman was heard backstage at one of the SmackDown tapings a couple weeks ago. We all know that the ratings haven't been the greatest after the Benoit family tragedy and enough of Smackdown's top superstars are off the roster that it will not draw fans back until they return.

Are these topics being brought up by the writers at WWE to perhaps find a way to bring up ratings? It is believed that once a couple high profile stars return to the ring SmackDown will be better off. That is what the staff are hoping for instead of hiring non-wrestler talent to help with ratings.

Dennis Rodman is probably really not that big of a deal anymore he's not as popular that he used to be so really it's not worth it.
