SMACKDOWN AND ECW RACK UP FREQUENT FLYER MILES THIS WEEKEND, 'CARD SUBJECT TO CHANGE' IN FULL EFFECT FOR RAW SHOW

After two weekends without house shows, the combined ECW and Smackdown crew has a brutal travel schedule this weekend, while Raw has it relatively easy with a pair of house shows in Nevada and Arizona.

The Smackdown/ECW run starts today, July 27th, in Bangkok, Thailand at the Impact Arena with Batista, Rey Mysterio, Matt Hardy, Kane, Kevin Thorn and Finlay listed as appearing. Local advertising was focused on Batista, Mysterio and Edge, but obviously Edge will not be appearing on the show.

The crew then travels 800 or so miles to Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore for a show on July 28th. Local advertising for this event lists Batista, Rey Mysterio, Matt Hardy, Kane and Tommy Dreamer, as well as King Booker (on the Raw shows this weekend), Snitsky (part of the Raw roster now) and Sabu (no longer with the company). Obviously, these shows were being advertised for months, so a lot has changed between the initial announcements and this weekend.

After a quick 2000-plus mile trip, the combined crew runs a show on July 29th in Perth, Australia at the Burswood Dome with the same talent advertised as the Singapore event.

After a day of rest (and a 9,600 mile jump back to the U.S.), Smackdown tapes and ECW broadcasts on Tuesday, July 31st from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Raw crew starts their run tomorrow night, July 28th, in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Thomas and Mack Center with WWE Champion John Cena vs. Randy Orton in the main event. Ken Kennedy, King Booker, Umaga, Santino Marella, Carlito, Candice Michelle, Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch are also advertised for the show.

The Raw crew then runs in Prescott Valley, Arizona on Sunday, July 29th at Tim's Toyota Center with an advertised lineup that looks pretty dated, as in pre-draft dated. Here's the lineup anyway:
- WWE Champion John Cena vs. Umaga.
- Randy Orton vs. Ric Flair (billed as "Legend Killer vs. Legend"). I would be surprised if this takes place.
- Bobby Lashley vs. Kevin Thorn (billed as an "ECW Featured Match"). Thorn is scheduled for the overseas shows this weekend.
- Jeff Hardy vs. The Great Khali. For Jeff Hardy's sake, I hope Khali is booked for the overseas tour too!
- Santino Marella vs. Carlito (billed as an Intercontinental Championship Match).

Raw then broadcasts on Monday, July 30th from the Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, Arizona with Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. King Booker.

This is what wears out the wrestlers and why people suggest an off season or something to that effect. This just wears them down which results in them needing pain killers and more to continue. Vince needs to stop pushing them to the bone.

This really sounds awful... They have to travel so much, affecting their recovery times, relationships(John Morrison and Melina) etc. They should cut down house shows and maybe increase times on televised shows...
