PAUL HEYMAN QUOTED BY NEW YORK TIMES TODAY, HEYMAN'S 1980s PHOTOGRAPHY FEATURED IN TWO MAJOR NEWS PUBLICATIONS
Former WWE star and ECW owner Paul Heyman was quoted by the New York Times today in an article on Shawn Kovell, who is the girlfriend of the infamous "Preppy Murderer" Robert Chambers and was arrested alongside Chambers on drug charges several weeks back.
Heyman, who was the photographer for Studio 54 in 1985 prior to breaking into the wrestling business as a manager, was quoted in the article as being friendly with Kovell during that time period, noting, "She knew all the doormen when she was 17." A photo credited to Heyman was featured in the article as well. The article and photo were on the front page of the Times' Metro section.
The New York Daily News today also featured the same photo of Korvell credited to Heyman from the same time period on page 19 of today's edition.
Heyman, who has been uncharacteristically silent since his departure from World Wrestling Entertainment, is said to be working on a non-wrestling project that would be distributed via mobile content as well as working on film and TV concepts.
Thanks to Tony Lewis and Chris Hanley for their help.
