CARLITO GOES HOME, CHAMPION VS. CHAMPION DOWN UNDER, BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION REUNITE THIS WEEKEND
Back on the road (and in the air) for both WWE crews this weekend. The Raw crew is Down Under for a tour of Australia, while the Smackdown/ECW crew is in Puerto Rico this weekend, with Carlito appearing as a "hometown favorite" on the tour. Both brands return to the U.S. for the final television shows before Survivor Series, then are off until the November 17th "Supershow" in Ft. Myers, Florida the day before the PPV.
The Raw crew is currently in the midst of their tour of Australia (they ran Brisbane yesterday), running today, November 9th, in Sydney, Australia at the Acer Arena with the following advertised lineup:
- WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy.
- Triple H vs. Umaga in a Street Fight.
- Mr. Kennedy, Snitsky, William Regal, The Highlanders, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch, Val Venis, Hacksaw Duggan, World's Greatest Tag Team, Cody Rhodes, Hardcore Holly, Beth Phoenix, Mickie James and Jillian Hall are also scheduled to appear.
The tour of Australia ends on Saturday, November 10th at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia with this lineup:
- Triple H & Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton & Umaga.
- World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs. Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly.
- The other talent listed for Sydney will also appear in Melbourne.
After the long flight home, Raw broadcasts on Monday, November 12th from the Kansas Expo Center in Topeka, Kansas.
With a considerably shorter flight, the combined Smackdown/ECW crew tours Puerto Rico this weekend, starting tonight, November 9th, at the Auditoria Pachin Vicens in Ponce with Raw's Carlito appearing along with Batista, Rey Mysterio, The Undertaker, Mark Henry, The Great Khali, Matt Hardy, MVP, CM Punk and John Morrison.
The tour continues on Saturday, November 10th at Coliseo Petaca Iguina in Arecibo then finishes up on Sunday, November 11th at the Coliseo De Puerto Rico Jose M. Agrelot in San Juan with the following lineup:
- World Champion Batista vs. The Great Khali.
- ECW Champion CM Punk vs. John Morrison vs. Elijah Burke.
- The Brothers Of Destruction (Undertaker & Kane) vs. MVP & Finlay.
- Rey Mysterio vs. Carlito.
- Matt Hardy vs. Kenny Dykstra.
- Tommy Dreamer & Steven Richards vs. Big Daddy V & Matt Striker.
- Michelle McCool vs. Victoria.
- Chuck Palumbo vs. Chavo Guerrero.
- Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Funaki.
ECW broadcasts and Smackdown tapes on Tuesday, November 13th at the Kansas Coliseum in Wichita, Kansas.
