CAPTAIN Kirk himself, William Shatner, is angry at at not being offered a cameo role in the latest movie version of Star Trek.
"How could you not put one of the founding figures into a movie that was being resurrected?," Shatner told US entertainment television program Extra. "That doesn't make good business sense to me!"
Leonard Nimoy (Mr Spock) and several other past cast members are reported to have been offered roles in the film, which is being directed by J J Abrams, creator of Channel 7's Lost.
