Bubba the Love Sponge lashed out against Linda Hogan on his Sirius satellite radio show yesterday. Bubba, a longtime friend of Hulk Hogan, said that a divorce would be the best thing to ever happen to Hulk and called Linda a “gold digging bitch."
Speaking of Bubba the Love Sponge, WWE Championship contender Chris Jericho will be on the show this Thursday.
Last night on RAW Chris Jericho returned to the ring for his first WWE match in over two years. Jericho defeated Santino Marella and appeared to be in good ring shape. Jericho finished Marella off with his new finisher, which he later dubbed "The Codebreaker". Jericho stands in front of his opponent face-to-face, grabs him from behind the head and drops back, crushing the opponent's face into his knees. The move is similar to Carlito's "back cracker" move, except it's inverted. Jericho learned the move while training at Lance Storm's wrestling school. Several other wrestlers have used the move before, including Gregory Helms and TNA's Shark Boy (he calls it the "Shark Blast"). Jericho has said in recent radio interviews that he will be introducing several new moves into his arsenal, so expect more from Y2J in the coming weeks.
After last night’s edition of RAW went off the air WWE Champion Randy Orton accepted Chris Jericho’s challenge for a title match at WWE’s upcoming Armageddon pay-per-view. The match is now official and is being promoted on the official WWE web site.
