- The preliminary outline for the tonight's 3-hour Raw is that various wrestling stars, both past and present, will either humiliate Vince McMahon or lay him out using their trademark move.
- At this point, WWE is trying hard to bring Bret Hart to tonight's show, but is believed he won't appear due to conflicts with his previous commitments promoting his books.
- The original script for Raw centered on Hart appearing as a surprise.
- Despite his return, the show is not written around the return of Hulk Hogan. It is interesting to note that just months ago, he was telling people he wasn't returning to WWE.
- The reason given by The Rock to turn down an offer to do Raw is because he's on a public vacation.
- It's being rumored that Psycho Sid Vicious will make his return to WWE tonight, making at least an appearance.
- Don't look for WWE Hall of Famer Mean Gene Okerlund to appear on tonight's show because he is being advertised to appear on an internet radio program during the time RAW will be live on the air. Former WWE personality Paul Bearer has also stated he will not be appearing on the show, even though WWE contacted him and asked him to return.
- WWE.com is heavily promoting a big angle to come on tonight' show from RAW General Manager William Regal.
