- The Energy and Commerce's Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection will hold a hearing on 1/23 on steroid use in professional sports coming off today's Mitchell Report and MLB. This is the same hearing that will take a look at steroid use in professional wrestling as well.
- WWE Superstar Ron Simmons will be at Tinker Field, adjacent to the Florida Citrus Bowl, home of WrestleMania 24 today signing autographs and meeting the fans. Ron will sign autographs from 5-6:30 PM.
Also, WWE Superstar MVP will be at the Circuit City on Saturday from 6-8 PM in Pittsburgh, PA on Chauvet Drive meeting fans and signing autographs.
- Boston.com is reporting that on Tuesday, WWE personalities Layla, CM Punk, and Rey Mysterio dined at Sel de la Terre in Boston before the ECW/SD tapings later that night. Layla and Punk had the restaurant surprise Mysterio with a creme caramel for his birthday this week.
