Aspyr Media announced Monday that it is now shipping The Sims 2 Bon Voyage, (http://www.aspyr.com/product/info/86) a new expansion pack for the popular game. It costs $34.99.
The Sims 2 Bon Voyage is an add-on for the original The Sims 2 game. It’s the sixth expansion pack published for the Mac by Aspyr Media. In The Sims 2, you control simulated people — the eponymous Sims — as they go about their lives, helping them decorate their homes, make friends, establish relationships, get jobs, and achieve life goals, such as raising a family or becoming wealthy and successful.
The Sims 2 Bon Voyage lets your Sims take trips abroad. They can visit three locations including a tropical island paradise, a mountaintop, or the Far East. You help your Sims enjoy new activities, progressing from a basic, bumbling tourist to a savvy and respectable world traveler as they learn local greetings, dances, and take home souvenirs and more to teach their friends.
System requirements call for the original The Sims 2, Mac OS X v10.4.10 or later, G4/1.4GHz or faster (Intel included), 256MB RAM, 2GB free hard disk space, ATI Radeon 9600 or Nvidia GeForce FX5200 or better 3D graphics with at least 64MB VRAM.
