WWE Worried About Being Exposed Through HD Format
Source: PWTorch
When management first discussed the idea of WWE going in to the High Definition format, there was worry among a lot of people in the company. HD is considerably better quality and WWE are unsure how it will portray their product on TV, especially when it comes to the "fakeness" that is somewhat covered up by the lower quality production.
The main concern is how the new quality will reveal older wrestler's appearance. Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair are a particular concern. If WWE had the choice they would stay in the old format, but times are changing and as a business they must adapt.
Of course they deliver live events every day without any problems, it's just change is always hard to accept and there are a few butterflies.
