- WWE announced last week that for the last two weeks of 2007, WWE's Friday Night SmackDown! program was the number one English-language primetime program on broadcast television among the Hispanic households. The Hispanic audience is very important to WWE and especially to the SmackDown! brand. When Eddie Guerrero was champion, WWE saw new record numbers from the Hispanic viewers and later Rey Mysterio's success in the company continued the trend after Eddie passed away in 2005. During Christmas week in 2007, WWE Smackdown! did better in Hispanic viewership than the New England Patriots vs NY Giants football game.
- Chris Jericho and Jeff Hardy vs. JBL and Randy Orton is being advertised locally for the 1/28 RAW in Philadelphia, which is the night after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. This is the same dark main event that they ran at the final RAW of 2007 in Greensboro, NC.
