Hello
I have a 100GB external hard drive. It’s a Western Digital HardDrive!
I was using the hard drive yesterday at home and suddenly a messege popped up on my system tray! I was just trying to access the files on the HardDrive (I wasn’t trying to save anything on it)
The message was
“Windows Delayed Write Failed: Windows was unable to save all the data for the file E:\$Mft. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere”.
Then I disconnected the HardDrive and plugged it back. It shows in the system tray that a device is connected, however when I got to My Computer to access the harddive its not there. I also tried plugin the HardDrive in other computers at my school, its still wouldnt show up.
Can any1 please tell me how to fix this problem. I have all my skol work and other dates on that HardDrive!
