Photos from last night's No Way Out PPV are up at WWE.com.
Speaking of No Way Out, The New York Daily news has an article up about Floyd Mayweather Jr. appearing at No Way Out and punching The Big Show. They covered the story like it was a shoot.
It is generally believed WWE has decided on the location of Wrestlemania 2009, but will hold off on the announcement for the time being. Phoenix, Arizona has emerged as the leading candidate to host Wrestlemania 2010.
WWE has decided on names to be inducted into the company's hall of fame this year. They are finalizing the presenters. WWE is said to be confident that The Rock will induct his father Rocky Johnson and grandfather Peter Maivia.
Gordon Solie, Jack and Jerry Briscoe also look to be set for this year's WWE Hall of Fame.
From Ozzy M.: I just came across this. This link links to an interview that Brock Lesnar gave to The Fight Network about why he quit the WWE. http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2008/02/09/brock-lesnar-i-didnt-want-to-be-one-of-those-guys-who-ended-u/ For those who don't want to go to the link, here's what Brock said: Basically, Lesnar's explanation is that living the life of a mixed martial arts fighter is a much safer, healthier lifestyle than the life of a professional wrestler. "I just looked around the locker room and didn't want to be one of those guys who was in the business for 20 years an didn't remember half my life," Lesnar said. "I wanted to be there for my daughter's birthdays. It's a lonely business. Get in to get out, that's what I wanted to do. I didn't want to be one of those guys who ended up dead in Florida some place." P.S. On the link, there is a youtube video of Brock's interview.
Michael Griffin sent this in: Another update on the HD situation in the UK. Sky Sports have now reportedly said that the third HD channel will not come into their line-up until late summer at the very least. Some sources from Sky believe British fans may be lucky if we see WWE in HD in 2008.
The wrestlers being moved from OVW to FCW are Jay Bradley, Colt Cabana, James Curtis, Atlas Dabone, Charles Evans, Vladmir Kozlov, Mike Kruel, Sanders, Shawn Spears, Matt Sydal, Andrew Vain, Lupe Viscara, Silas Young and former diva search competitor Milena Roucka.
