The recent firing of Roadkill from developmental was disclipinary, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Someone reported him to the WWE office for selling WWE merchandise at spot shows at his gimmick table. After his release, WWE sent word that they don't want any talent under contract selling merchandise, even their own, at the shows. I expect a MySpace denial message shortly regarding this from him.

Wrestlemania 24 will cost fans $54.95 this year, up from last year's $49.95 price tag. WWE is also charging $69.95 to watch this year's Wrestlemania in High-definition.

WWE has been scrutinized lately by the media in Spain, reports Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Both La Asociacion de Usuarios de la Comunicacion and La Condereacion Nacional de Padres de Familia y Padres del Alumnos have called for a ban of WWE television during hours children would be watching. Most every major newspaper picked up on the story on February 12th, saying they want WWE banned except from the hours of 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. The same thing happened in Mexico in 1955 which led to Lucha Libre being off television in Mexico City until the late 80s.

Reader Bill Clark sent this in… I just received the Batista cover March 2008 magazine in the mail. It comes with a poster with Triple H, John Cena, The Undertaker and Batista in the desert on a road. It says “Who will survive the road to WrestleMania XXIV” I noticed that The Undertaker’s “Sara” tattoo has been removed. Just thought I would pass that along.
