The following press release was issued today: March 6, 2008 " Los Angeles, CA " WWE has announced that Rev Theory’s “Light It Up” along with the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Snow (Hey Oh)” will be this year’s theme songs for Wrestlemania XXIV. Selected from among thousands of recent rock anthems, “Light It Up” has gotten wrestling fans pumped up and raving already for this legendary sports-entertainment spectacular. The song is included in Wrestlemania ads and will be played during the event and on the WWE website, www.WWE.com. Wrestlemania regularly draws crowds of over 70,000 people and is one of pay-per-view’s largest events. What else would you expect from a band who was a part of last year’s Bad Boys of Rock tour with rock hard heavy hitters Hinder, Buckcherry and Papa Roach? Fans of Rev Theory can also look forward to the band’s debut album on Interscope Records, coming June 2008. Wrestlemania XXIV takes place on Sunday, March 30th, at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida. Pacino would have been an awesome addition to the movie, a shame he is not going to be in it. Pacino is going to be in the new Bond movie in a small role and it is bringing alot of hype to that movie.
