-- At a Raw brand houseshow in Louisville on March 1, Carlito came out to do an interview wearing a CM Punk shirt with his face cut out of the shirt. Carlito basically said that he cut the face out because he was out of toilet paper. It was done in Louisville because Punk is based there due to his time in OVW. Also, Punk never came out to confront him as they're on different touring brands, so they're not building any angle. It's said to be a receipt over some bad blood the two have regarding something to do with WWE Diva Maria Kanellis. Punk at one time dated Maria and Carlito supposedly hit on her. Carlito was able to get away with the house show incident because he is currently in good standing with officials after he agreed to not leave the company back in December. Carlito was promised that he'd be used better if he decided against leaving. His standing also explains Carlito landing a spot in the Money in the Bank match. Punk has some detractors backstage, so Carlito was able to get away with doing this even though it was quite unprofessional of him to air out some dirty laundry when they're not building an angle off of it.

-- Regarding Silas Young's release from WWE last Monday, he apparently quit. It might have something to do with the wrestlers moving from Louisville to Florida and he didn't want to make the move.

-- As noted last week, German Figueroa a.k.a. former TNA wrestler Apolo, was released as well. He was facing a number of legal issues in Puerto Rico as he missed a court date appearance and then sentenced to jail for 30 days. However, he didn't turn himself into jail and was considered to be a fugitive in the country. It's also now coming out that Figueroa had apparently failed a drug test in Puerto Rico, although WWE chose not to release his name. WWE's updated drug policy calls for all new signees to pass a drug test before joining the company.

^They probably kept him because of their planned expansion into South America.

Ran into Carlito at a McDonalds after last year's Summerslam. Seemed nice enough. But I don't think he's anything special in the ring. I'd take Punk over him any day of the week.

I disagree. I think Punk is much more boring and UNCOORDINATED in the ring than Carlito.

Each their own I guess. Punk hasn't come off as uncoordinated in the ring to me. I really like his style and he is the sole reason I turn on ECW from time to time. Carlito's matches just come off slow, plodding and boring.

Carlito's good in the ring and Punk needs to turn heel because him being face right now is getting old IMO...
