Another reporter, once again stealing OUR news, crying again on his website because he's not being credited by WWE and we are. Pathetic. You know who you are.

WWE issued the following press release today: March 17, 2008 �" Orlando, FL �" Rev Theory will perform live at Wrestlemania XXIV at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando on Sunday, March 30th. Having already penned “Light It Up,” this year’s official theme song for Wrestlemania, Rev Theory will bring their hard-rocking live show to the stage for the more than 60,000 fans from around the world expected to attend. “Music is an integral component for the World Wrestling Entertainment brand and in the case of Rev Theory, we’ve chosen “Light It Up” as one of the theme songs for WrestleMania 24,” says Neil Lawi of the WWE. “The band and the song exude the excitement and emotion we look for to accompany sports-entertainment’s pinnacle event and the band has crafted an anthemic song for an anthemic event.” For wrestling fans looking for more Rev Theory, the band’s upcoming Interscope debut album featuring “Light It Up” comes out June 2008. Chris Jericho has signed a deal for his second book with Grand Central Publishing. The second book has a working title of "Undisputed Attitude," which will focus on his WWE career from 1999 to his 2005 departure. The book will also deal with the deaths of Y2J's mother, and several of his friends including Eddy Guerrero and Chris Benoit.

As of the weekend, WWE had not decided on what type of match The Big Show and Floyd Mayweather Jr. would work at Wrestlemania.

WWE Films is planning a cartoon series on the web aimed at six to eight year olds.

WWE recently asked to see a tape of Jessica Hatch, the former diva search contestant. Hatch has been training with Booker T's group in Houston, TX.
