With the in-ring career of the Nature Boy now over many have wondered what is next for Ric Flair? While he will devote more time to his new business called Ric Flair Finance, Flair remains employed by World Wrestling Entertainment and will be doing public relations work for the company. Flair's respect to the McMahon family is no secret and he's been always loyal to the family and the company whenever he was employed. The plan to have Flair do PR work has been long in the works. (Thanks to Colin Vassallo)
Flair will also be doing the CBS reality show "Secret Talents of the Stars." Daily Variety reports that "Curb Your Enthusiasm" producer and former agent Gavin Polone will be a judge on the show. Debbie Reynolds and Brian McKnight will also be on the panel. (Thanks to Mike Informer)
The 3/21 Smackdown in Canada aired at midnight due to The Score airing the NCAA basketball tournament. The show drew 44,000 viewers (or about a 0.5 rating). ECW in Canada for the week drew 127,000 viewers (or a 0.8 rating). On a side note, The Score is only available in about 57% of the Canadian homes.
Speaking of ratings, for the month of March, Raw averaged a 3.58 cable rating, and ECW averaged a 1.28 cable rating.
Happy birthday to former WCW, ECW, and WWE superstar Lance Storm. I believe his wrestling school in Calgary just concluded another class, and the next class starts in May.
