Former TNA wrestler Matt Bentley is getting a one week tryout with WWE at their Florida Championship Wrestling center, reports PWInsider.com. Bentley appeared on last week's edition of SmackDown, losing to Vladimir Kozlov.

A writer for the Fighting Spirit Magazine out of the U.K. (which is available in some Borders and Barnes & Noble book stores in the U.S.) penned an article comparing Triple H to Adolf Hitler for their latest issue. The article is online, which you can read at fightingspiritmagazine.co.uk. The article is titled Triple H's Nazi Black Magic.

Andrew "Test" Martin recently posted a blog on his MySpace talking about girlfriend ECW Diva Barbie "Kelly Kelly" Blank, his recent wrestling tour of Ireland, hanging out with former WWE star Sandman, and getting out of wrestling, which you can read at http://www.myspace.com/7439092. Regarding his relationship with Kelly Kelly, he said, "Babs is my rock and the only reason I'm still above ground and as horrible as this may be the only girl I've ever treated with the respect that a girlfriend deserves."

Speaking of Test, WWE's official website is acknowledging his DUI arrest.

If Bentley signs with wwe maybe they'd have Shawn Michaels as his tutor or something.

Ha, that's pretty funny! You would have thought that TNA had that name copyrighted similar to the Monty Brown thing. I saw the Naturals were on there a couple of weeks ago too in a squash match against the Big Show. If they keep bringing in more Crusierweight-esque wrestlers to Smackdown I might actually start watching it again.

*sigh*

I think it'd be kind of hard for TNA to do that seeing as how it's his real name...

You guessed it, Monty Brown.

...yeah, and TNA obviously (well maybe not) never copyrighted the man's real name. WWE implemented the change, in fact so they could have a name that could be copyrighted. WWE had free right to call him Monty Brown, but they chose not to. I'm not sure if you've been misinformed or what.

From JR's blog:

Monty Brown debuted as Marquis Cor Von because the publicly traded WWE wanted to own the character’s name and intellectual property. I strongly suggest that the WWE will own the vast majority if not all their performer’s names in the future. Yes, I know it did not used to be that way, but that was then and times have changed. Protecting the company’s intellectual property is an obligation to the stockholders. Personally, I like the name Monty Brown, but this decision apparently wasn’t made based on like but on need and to legally protect the WWE. Bottom line, it is what it is and all the bitching in the world isn’t going to change it.
