Dominican singer JUAN LUIS GUERRA emerged the biggest winner at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday (10Apr08), taking home three trophies including Artist Of The Year.
Guerra, who was nominated in seven categories, also picked up Producer Of The Year and Tropical Album Of The Year, which he won with his group 4.40 for La Llave De Mi Corazon.
Elsewhere at the Hard Rock Hotel + Casino bash in Hollywood, fellow Dominicans Avetura won two awards including Song Of The Year for Mi Corozoncito.
Gloria Estefan also had two wins - Tropical Album Of The Year, Female for 90 Millas and Tropical Airplay Song Of The Year, Female for No Llores.
Jennifer Lopez won Pop Album Of The Year for her Spanish-language disc Como Ama Una Mujer and Fanny Lu collected Tropical Airplay Song Of The Year, New Artist for Y Si Te Digo.
Also among the winners in the show's 54 categories, Colombian star Juanes' La Vida Es Un Ratico took home Male Pop Album Of The Year.
