Thanks to Dave W. for the following. ... I picked it up in the middle of the segment, but John Cena was a guest on "The First Team", the morning drive show heard on Fox Sports Radio hosted by Steve Czaban. When I tuned in, Cena was talking about his upcoming movie (I forget the name.) Czabe asked him how he got back so fast from injury. Cena credited Dr. James Andrews, as well as working had. He said he did a lot of the rehab exercises other guys ignore. When asked (jokingly) about wrestling being fake, Cena said while the outcomes were pre-determined, guys really went at it and said there was more physicality than in any other sport. He said the injuries happen from the physicality and competing. Cena is part of the Gilette Phenom Tour. It's a contest where they're looking for outstanding athletes. He plugged an upcoming appearance in Houston.
WWE.com has posted a series of video interviews with Carlito, Chris Jericho, Cryme Tyme and William Regal talking about their desire to be in and win the King Of The Ring tournament. These videos were filmed on the "throne setup" this past Monday on Raw. You can check out the videos by clicking here. Of course, WWE still hasn't officially confirmed any participants for the tournament, which will take place during the three-hour Raw on Monday, at this time.
