Sell out crowd at Newcastle Metro Radio arena for the Smackdown/ECW show last night. Quick results/notes are as follows :
Mark Henry defeated Tommy Dreamer (we arrived late and missed this match, as we were walking through the arena, it sounded like the crowd was chanting "Cena, Cena" which of course was actually "Dreamer, Dreamer".
WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison def Shannon Moore & Jimmy Wang Yang when the Miz pinned Shannon Moore with a rollup and a hand full of tights. Amusing moment in this match was when Morrison threw Wang Yang into the security railing which caused the arena security guard sat on a chair on the other side of the railing to take a bump.

In a triple threat match for the ECW title, Kane defeated Chavo Guerrero and CM Punk when Kane pinned Guerrero after a double chokeslam.
Intermission
In an entertaining 6-man tag match that involved (amongst other things) the use of water pistols (!) - Matt Hardy, Finlay (with Hornswoggle) and Batista defeated MVP and the Edgeheads. The end of the match saw the Edgeheads get taken out by Matt Hardy & Finlay, and Batista pinned MVP after a Batista bomb. After the match, Batista was given Hornswoggle's hat and both Batista and Matt Hardy joined Hornwsoggle in doing an Irish jig round the ring.
Then we had the treat of what Dave would call a craptacular match, Big Show defeated The Great Khali after a chokeslam. Well a chokeslam of sorts, Big Show could hardly get Khali up properly.
The main event saw Undertaker retain his World Championship with a pinfall win over Edge. Very entertaining match, Undertaker went for old school twice but was stopped both times, unlike Wrestlemania he didn't try a 3rd time. Edge kicked out of the last ride, and Undertaker kicked out of the spear. The end came with Edge went for tombstone piledriver which was then reversed.
