Here are the results for the house show yesterday in Fredericton:
CM Punk def. Chuck Palumbo
-Palumbo was heavily booed, probably because CM Punk is the more popular of the two.
Kenny Dykstra def. Ted DiBiase, Jr.
-Even though he kind of jobbed, Ted did pretty well.
Kelly Kelly def. Cherry, Natalya, Lena Yada & Maryse in a Best Body Contest
-Armando Estrada hosted. When he came, he jokingly called us Fredericville
-Maryse and Kelly Kelly were almost even.
-Natalya refused to take her robe off, then she attacked Cherry when everybody left. Kelly made the save, and they both derobed her.
Jamie Noble def. Matt Striker
-Jamie Noble was cheered.
Big Show & Finlay w/Hornswoggle def. Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder
-Hornswoggle jumped off Big Show onto one of the two.
-Big Show, Finlay & Hornswoggle started irish dancing. Big Show even jumped up and clicked his heels!
John Morrison & The Miz def. Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore to retain WWE Tag Championship
-At one point, John Morrison ran over to his corner and kneeled down to get away from Jimmy, but it looked like he was "pleasuring" the Miz.
-Jimmy Wang Yang's moonsault is awesome live.
Kofi Kingston def. Mike Knox
Kane def. Chavo Guerrero w/Bam Neely to retain ECW Championship
-Chavo got into a verbal battle with one of the fans, probably just to stall, and he jumped on the mic and said, "Is that the best you got Fredericton? Some g** guy in a yellow shirt?"
-This match had a lot of spots from the match at Backlash.
Matt Hardy & Batista def. Edge & MVP in a No-DQ match
-Edge came out wearing a Montreal Canadians t-shirt. He asked it was Canadians county, and everyone cheered. He said he was going to do one of his famous 5 second poses. He gave MVP a hockey stick, and said that MVP would be Philadelphia, and he'd be Carey Price. He pretended to let a puck through his legs.
-Matt Hardy stayed with a bit to say hi to fans after the match.
-Batista and Matt Hardy did their finishers at the same time and then double-pinned.
Some other notes:
-Some people were upset when they found out that the Undertaker wasn't there.
-While I was waiting in line to get into the arena, a car drove up trying to get through the line, and I thought to myself "What is he doing?". We moved out of the way, and as he drove by, we noticed it was Matt Hardy with Shannon Moore!
