Bob Kusbit, head of Development for CMT, told Multichannel News the following about the new Hulk Hogan Celebrity Championship Wrestling show: "The CMT audience loves professional wrestling, so a show where superstar Hulk Hogan trains celebrities, gets them into character and into the ring, and really pulls back the curtain on how intense, colorful and difficult it is to be a champion, is a big win for us and our viewers."
A number of superstars from the ECW brand have been told to be at tonight's WWE RAW from Toronto. No word on what their role will be on tonight's show.
The tentative plan for the the upcoming WWE One Night Stand PPV on June 1st is to have all matches be fought under extreme rules.
At Tuesday's SmackDown/ECW taping in Atlantic City, a fan was heckling Mike Adamle big-time. He was asking Adamle how many mistakes he was going to make on the show. However, a WWE tech guy put an end to the heckling by confronting the fan and saying, "There will be none of that tonight and if I hear one more word out of you, I will throw you out of here." Security also confiscated an "Adamle Sucks" sign.
