Renny Harlin’s 12 Rounds starring WWE star John Cena is now scheduled for a March 13th, 2009 release. Up against Disney’s sequel/remake Race to Witch Mountain.

So I guess it will be released in theaters and not direct-to-DVD.

Are they trying to compete with Rock's movie? Wow... they put Cena vs Rock in movies, wonder what'll happen? I'm sure Rock will blow them out of the water.
