Since when is stating an obvious truth "taking a shot"? Smackdown in fact is on it's demise ratings-wise (lol, does anyone remember when SD actually used to compete with RAW in the ratings?). Furthermore, it's also true that Smackdown doesn't fit their brand anymore. It was noted that The CW is focusing "strictly on the female demographic", while pro wrestling is marketed towards males.

This was simply an explanation of the smart decision to part ways with Smackdown and WWE, it wasn't "taking a shot".

the truth hurts...
until the wwe decides to make smackdown great again...it'll continue to be 2nd rate. 'taker is great, edge is great, big show is great...but there isn't anyone else on that show who REALLY matters when you get right down to it. if they really wanna do something for that show, they'll send cena, umaga and shawn michaels over there to get some interest up and going again. raw can do fine without them as they still have plenty of quality guys in orton, hhh, kennedy, santino, y2j, regal and jbl.

big LOL @ Kennedy, Santino, and Orton being "quality guys".

Seriously, if Shawn Michaels and Umaga left RAW, I'd probably never watch it again.
