WWE announced that their Friday 6/13 Raw house show Boise, Idaho has been moved back one day to 6/14.

WWE also announced that a scheduled 6/16 Raw taping in Salt Lake City that had been changed to a weekend house show was back on as a live taping. In a clever move, the WWE website tied to change back into Vince McMahon's comments on Raw this week to William Regal, writing, "Stemming from Mr. McMahon’s in-ring declaration to William Regal informing him that he listens to our fans, and they have opinions that matter, WWE would like to convey that because of their letters, e-mails and phone calls, the Salt Lake City Monday Night Raw original date of Monday, June 16, is back on! "

A new book on the Benoit family tragedy, "Ring of Hell: The Story of Chris Benoit and the Fall of the Pro Wrestling Industry" has been released. Written by Matthew Randazzo, promotional material for the book reads, "In the notoriously crooked and exploitative world of professional wrestling, WWE legend Chris Benoit was supposed to be the exception. Chris was universally recognized as the best pro wrestling had to offer: a decent, humble, and devoted family man loved and admired by all who knew him. Nobody could have predicted the horrific events of June 22-24, 2007 when Chris strangled his wife and seven-year old son before committing suicide. RING OF HELL is the true story of Benoit's journey through the destructive, dysfunctional, and bizarre pro wrestling industry and the catastrophic physical and mental breakdown that led to his grisly end." I know Randazzo interviewed a number of Benoit's friends as well as current and former WWE creative team members (some who preferred to remain employed and anonymous) for the book. Our friends at highspots.com are carrying it..

There are a number of Benoit-related books scheduled for release in the next year and one, titled simply "Benoit", featuring a series of essays of the tragedy and it's fallout was released several months back by Canada's ECW Press.

Candace Michelle is scheduled to attend the Indy 500 this weekend.

Gene Okerlund and Sheik Adnan Al-Kaisee have been added to the 10/11 Legends of the Ring convention in Carteret, NJ.
