The Tampa Tribune article on Nick Hogan's adjustment issues dealing with his incarceration has been updated with audio of his telephone calls to his family. In one of the calls, Hulk Hogan actually speaks wrestling carny to his son at times, telling him to "Mizan up." During the calls, Linda Hogan speaks of trying to get her son released with an ankle bracelet and also tells her how proud she was of Nick's speech when he addressed the court. Nick notes that according to the prison computers, he is slated to be released on 10/23, which is in five and a half months. There was very little discussion John Graziano during the calls beyond Nick and Linda saying that John wouldn't like the way he was being used as a pawn, more or less. Linda also wondered aloud if the phone calls would end up released to the media. Well, wonder no more. For those of you who want to listen to the calls, you can find them at this link. Personally, I think it's kind of low for the prison to release calls of a minor talking to his parents, but he was charged as an adult.
In happier Hogan news, two Hulks will soon collide. There will be an Incredible Hulk-themed episode of American Gladiators on 6/9, timed to promote the Marvel Comics character's latest film and even Lou Ferrigno, who starred as the green goliath in the Kenneth Johnson-helmed 1970s series co-hosting with (who else?) Hulk Hogan.
Dwayne Johnson is slated to present at the MTV Movie Awards on 6/1, partially to promote the Get Smart film.
