Mascarita Ano Dos Mil told Reforma today that he is tired of promoters advertising him and Universito Dos Mil on shows that they aren’t booked on. There was a show in Neza on 5/11 that had them advertised and they were never booked on the show thus making it seem like they were no-showing and giving them a bad name. Mascarita would say that this deception is terrible and that they would take legal measures in the future to stop this from happening as they have the right for the gimmicks as they were given permission by the Reyes family. Mascarita said that Mascara Ano Dos Mil is in full support of this cause and that he would make sure this doesn’t happen again personally. Mascarita doesn’t want to the fans to be confused and hopes that if there are imposters out there in the gimmicks that they would know for sure that it isn’t him or Universito.
Shocker told Reforma today that if Perro Aguayo Jr. thinks that he can beat anyone in a hair match then he wants to try him on for size. Shocker knows that Perrito is very experienced in hair matches and that he has the guts and hunger to be at the top of his game but he feels that he is a better wrestler than him and wants to prove it in a hair match. Shocker said that at Juicio Final they have this 7 man steel cage match where the loser will get shaved and feels like he should make it even at 8 by throwing his name in the hat. Shocker thinks that no one could beat him in that match and that he would sign his name on that contract at anytime they want. Shocker knows he doesn’t have long hair but he has tremendous pride in his beautiful looks and that after taking 19 scalps in his career, taking Perrito’s for #20 would be the crowning jewel of his career at this point. Shocker then went on to name the names of his scalps and they feature the following: Bestia Salvaje, Black Warrior, Emilio Charles Jr., Marco Corleone, Mascara Ano Dos Mil, Rambo, Rey Bucanero, Sangre Chicana, Scorpio Jr., Kenzo Suzuki, El Texano, Toscano, & Vampiro plus names he didn’t mention in Cain, Halloween, Kahoz, Mazada, Katsushi Takemura, Valentin Mayo, & Violencia. Shocker closed by saying that those names prove that he isn’t showing off, he has the track record to back it up.
