WWE's website is now confirming our report that Roddy Piper will be announcing a new protégé soon.

As noted here on the site, there is talk of booking a heel stable of second-generation stars, with a veteran manager to lead them. Names being discussed for this are Afa Jr, Ted Dibiase Jr, DH Smith, Cody Rhodes and if they can't get a veteran mouthpiece, Carlito to do the talking. There is also talk of a similar idea, but not made up with all second-generation stars. CM Punk and Chris Harris have been discussed if that would be the case.
