Ring of Honor's 2008 Death Before Dishonor event will be 8/2 in New York City at the Hammerstein Ballroom. The first two matches announced for the show feature Kevin Steen & El Generico vs. TNA stars the Motor City Machineguns and Naomichi Marufuji vs. Go Shiozaki in a first-ever meeting. The first ever Death Before Dishonor event in 2003 featured the farewell of Paul London in a loss to then-ROH champ Samoa Joe in Elizabeth, NJ, which seems like a million years ago.
The next ROH national DVD releases from KOCH are slated for 7/8 releases. The initial releases look to have sold about 6,000 copies each nationally, which is a really good number considering they've had no national TV advertising campaign and it's been all word of mouth and print/internet advertising via wrestling outlets.
