Well this news brings a tears to my eyes he really was larger then life and will never be forgotten if you grew up in his time and were a wrestling fan then you know just how great he was and how he could just be such a force in the ring and on the mic he really was a childhood hero for me and I am sure until the end he fought and gave it his all he had a passion for life and he always seemed so happy and thats what I will remember him as ...As the preformer that shook the wrestling world and won the hearts of so many but could also make you hate him As the man who never gave up on a fight and always took things with a smile on his face its no douby that John will always be remembered in the wrestling world

RIP John ...We Love You And Will Never Forget

I grew up watching people like Earthquake, Jake the Snake, Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart and I feel shocked and saddended today that one of the most dominating big men who can deliver a great promo has passed away today. John "Earthquake" Tenta you will be missed and you will be loved by all of your friends unfortunatley the Treamours have finally stopped an Earth Quake in and out of the ring.

I remember him from the early 90s. He really was the originator of the "I'm too big to be beaten" gimmick. I remember him breaking one of WWF's rings when he used to do his patented "ringquake". I know he battled cancer for the last couple of years. Unfortunately, he lost that battle early this morning.

Rest in Peace John "Earthquake" Tenta.

I remember watching some old WWF PPV's from when I was first getting into wrestling, and I remember Earthquake very well. And it's sad that he's lost his battle against cancer. Over recent months, in updates he's posted he sounded upbeat in hope of beating it, but unfortunately he wasn't able to beat it, and he'll be badly missed.

Rest in Peace John "Earthquake" Tenta.
