-- With the exception of Umaga to SmackDown, the closest thing to a surefire move was Rey Mysterio to Raw. Officials actually made the decision a few weeks ago while SmackDown writer Michael Hayes was away on suspension. Hayes wanted to keep Mysterio on SmackDown, but he had to give him up to Raw in order to land Jeff Hardy, and as most of you know, Hayes is close to the Hardys. Although, SmackDown later lost Matt Hardy to ECW. Matt was moved over to ECW because the feeling was that if the two brothers appeared on the same brand, they would have to be a tag team, and Vince doesn't want to push them as a tag team at the moment, even if they are incredibly over with the fans. Vince doesn't believe in pushing tag teams as he prefers focusing on singles competitors. Also, with ECW losing CM Punk and Kane to Raw, they obviously needed someone to soften the blow, and that person was Matt Hardy.

-- On Monday, Rey Mysterio was actually in Mexico doing promotional work for the company when he was given a late phone call informing him to come to San Antonio for Raw. Although he's only a few weeks away from returning to the ring, he's still out with an injury and they wouldn't have been so adamant about getting him to San Antonio unless they had plans for him to change brands. When he arrived to the arena, people pretty much figured out what was going on, but as big as a star he is in WWE, Rey was still officially kept in the dark from creative regarding the move.

-- The creative team has big plans for Lance Cade. They are having discussions on how to repackage him. They hope to make him a main event heel, and his partnership with Chris Jericho will continue.

Wow, Cade really got a huge push. I mean he's been there a while and now he's finally getting up to main event level. It's good for him and all, but I don't think he's quite main event material just yet. I mean, last year was the first time they won the tag-titles. Maybe he'll turn on Jericho and take the IC from him?

I mean, last year was the first time they won the tag-titleslol, wut?

idk if you just started watching wrestling or something, but Cade & Murdoch have won the titles 3 different times, the first of which being way back in 2005, beating Hurricane and Rosey. They've been the premier tag team on RAW for about 3 years, only taking a backseat at times to DX.

I never liked em as a tag team, don't know why. They just don't seem so over as alot of other tag teams and this could be the reason why some people forget about their respective past as champions.

lol, that's a pretty bad excuse for not at all being able to remember what's been happening on RAW for the past 3 years. So someone doesn't like them--fine, they're not my favorite tag team either, put that doesn't give me the right to start distorting facts.

To flat out say that they first won the titles last year is implying that you actually know for sure that they DIDN'T win the titles before that, which is obviously not true. It's got nothing to do with anyone's opinion on the team itself.

^^Wow, that guy is just trolling without adding anything to the discussion.

I'm not "offended by inaccuracies". I'm not offended at all. I merely pointed out that someone was wrong, then someone else tried to defend that wrongness with, what I thought, was a pretty bad excuse. I'm not at all concerned about the legacy of the World Tag Team Championship.

cade n murdoch were a good tag team, but i think the crowd never really responded to them. anyways, i dont think cade is at main-event level yet either. i would like to see him in the hunt for the intercontinental title. kofi, santino, cade, and burchill, or palumbo, or london would be nice.
