I just returned from RAW and wanted to send along a report:

The 1st pre-RAW dark matches was Hacksaw Jim Duggan versus Matt Striker and was a lively match (with at least ten separate USA chants by the crowd.)

The 2nd pre-RAW dark match was Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, Jr. versus D'Lo Brown and Paul London (also a surprisingly entertaining match.)

The arena was 95% full and was HUGELY behind Cena, undoubtedly since he’s spent the last five months filming his new movie in the city. The confrontation to start the show went over huge as it build from Vickie to CM Punk and then exploded with Cena, Batista and Kane.

The crowd was far less into CM Punk’s second entrance than his first and the match with Snitsky got the least crowd reaction of any match on the show. (even less than
the divas!)

Kofi Kingston has several loyal fans rushing the floor area when he made his appearance (surprising for a guy on his 3rd RAW episode.)

The dark match was not as advertised. It featured Cena thanking the city for its hospitality in making him feel like a New Orleanian and JBL coming out to insult the city, saying that “this city gets behind Reggie Bush and he can’t even hold on to a football.”
An impromptu Cena-JBL match began with Cena getting the victory with an FU about 60 seconds after the match started.

Overall, a very entertaining show from start to finish!

Biggest Pops
1.Cena
2.Batista
3.Kane
4.CM Punk

Biggest Heat
1.Vickie Guerrero
2.Vickie Guerrero (we really enjoyed booing her)
3.Vickie Guerrero (I didn’t hear a word she said over the boos)
4. JBL

What sucks is that this could be used as a reason to take the belt off Punk, when in reality, Punk vs Snitsky got more of a reaction than Cena vs Snitsky last year. They just need to realize...nobody wants to see Snitsky...like, ever. The crowd will immediately die upon first sight of his face.

I like Snitsky. If he had a better angle than just being "mean and ugly" it could be interesting.
