Pro Elite has officially announced that the card of Kimbo Slice vs. Ken Shamrock
will headline the next Elite XC show on CBS live on Saturday October 4th. This will
be Slice's fourth mixed martial arts bout. While Ken Shamrock might not be a top
fighter anymore, he is more than capable of giving Slice his first loss.
This is the fight that Elite XC wanted to headline their 5/31/08 CBS card, however
Shamrock was knocked out in his last fight in March by Robert Berry. The fight will
be the 3-0 Slice's third consecutive opponent who is coming off a loss. Shamrock,
who has lost his last five fights, should be Slice's toughest test on paper despite
Shamrock's displaying a weak chin, he could prove to be tailor made for the former
street fighter. This could turn out to be the most watched MMA fight ever as two of
the sports biggest superstars fight on free TV.
